One word – Agonizing!!!
4 hours of agonizing torture!
This is the kind of movie that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and ruins the rest of the day and you wonder why you are feeling so bad!
The reasons are plenty once you think about it.
1. The movie takes a serious topic and deals with it very non-seriously.
2. It tries to justify an adulterous relationship.
3. It is very degrading towards women and is filled with sexual innuendos and too many references towards a woman’s butt. What is that all about?
4. It is all about Sex.
5. It is about someone’s twisted view of relationships and how they should work.
At the start I thought this was going to be a very different movie … one which might for the first time be about the emotional bond between a man and a woman. Proved wrong!

My heart bleeds with sadness, filled with a strange unnamed longing, perhaps even desolation. I don’t want to be loved; I just want to love. I want to obliterate the influences of the past and start afresh. I want to venture into the realms of the impossible, leaving what’s possible so far behind that it seems impossible. I want to dream, because I can, but I also want dreams to be more than mere dreams. I want hurtful things to vanish and become as unreal as my dreams seem to be. I want truth to be sweet or at least bittersweet, but not entirely bitter. I want faces to have real smiles that reach straight into their eyes. I want real happiness, not a mere consolation that enables me to barely survive and nothing more. I want intellectual stimulation, the kind that causes fulfillment and not desperation.

Dear Diary,
Yesterday we went to a wedding. Sat for a while, had dinner and then we got ready to leave. When we got out of the gate one of our family friends were just leaving in their car.
They stopped by us…with horrified faces, “Someone broke into our car! We didn’t even notice the broken window. But the seat was pushed forward and our CD changer and stereo was stolen!”
“Ouch!” I thought
“Well you can at least claim insurance.” Piped in my mom.
“Errr we don’t have any!” Went the family friend.
“What?? Not even third party.” Mom replied, horrified.
“No!” Came the sad reply.
“Well, we better hurry and check our car, too.” Mom said.

Why don’t people learn from history?
History has taught us that anyone with ideas of world domination has gone on to expand their empire but only to an extent … after which they have all faced their downfall. Be it Ghengis Khan or Alexander the Great or be it Hitler, anyone who has tried it, has eventually faced their doom. Yet people … countries do not learn. The struggle for power goes on.
I used to wonder how people can be brainwashed into thinking that a person of a certain race or religion is such a threat that they need to be emiminated at any cost. And I wondered how and what can change a normal person so much that they can be bullied into that way of thinking?

Dear Diary,
Its 6:18 in the morning and here I am sitting writing about … errrrrr … nothing. Recently it seems I just randomly babble to myself. I would say empty walls but there don’t seem to be any in cyber space. My fellow blogger seems to be asleep, too. So its pretty much Me alone here. Is someone getting the message?
Anyone here? Or am I just banging my head against the non-existent cyber space walls?
There … I’m done ranting.
